Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the contractual agreement between SaudiGulf Airlines and the Member (as defined hereinafter). Members are advised to read these Terms and Conditions prior to making an application for membership to the SaudiGulf Airline’s SaudiGulf Club Programme.  Members are advised that no clause should be read in isolation. The rule of construction, if any, that a contract should be interpreted against the parties responsible for the drafting and preparation thereof, shall not apply.

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the same meaning as set out hereinafter:

  1. Applicant” refers to any individual who fills in and mails the SaudiGulf Club Enrollment Form to SaudiGulf Club Member Assist or enrolls in the SaudiGulf Club Programme on the SaudiGulf website (www.saudigulfairlines.com).
  2. Base Miles” means SaudiGulf Club Miles credited for travel on SaudiGulf airlines between Sectors on the fare class paid for by the travelling member.
  3. Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles” means the miles awarded by SaudiGulf Club over and above the Base SaudiGulf Club Miles. Such Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles are awarded at the sole discretion of SaudiGulf Airlines.
  4. Cabin Bonus” means the Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles credited for travel on SaudiGulf Airlines Premium class being Business or First Cabins due to SaudiGulf Airlines evaluation.
  5. Data” means all personal date or information received by a Member (by member and or others of which related to the member or its relatives or affiliates), including but not limited to, name, address, telephone number, date of birth, employer, seat/meal preference, class of travel flown by the Member, SaudiGulf Club Miles accumulated, contacts with SaudiGulf Club, any information received from Programme Partners or member as a result of using services provided by the Programme Partners and other travel data.
  6. Eligible Fare” means fares that are eligible for accrual of SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  7. Family Loyalty Program” means the program which enables up to eight family members which could also include a cook, housemaid and a driver to consolidate the miles earned by themselves into the account of the Head of the Family.
  8. Fare Class” means and includes all fare categories under SaudiGulf economy, business, and first class tickets, as more detailed in our website http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com, of which maybe amended from time to time.
  9. Fraud” means fraud, dishonesty, and deceit, and including without limitation the following
    1. Supplying incorrect information at any time to accrue SaudiGulf Club Miles,
    2. Attempting to accrue SaudiGulf Club Miles for sectors that have not been flown or are not eligible for accruing SaudiGulf Club Miles,
    3. Altering any documents to procure SaudiGulf Club Miles.
    4. Attempting to accrue SaudiGulf Club Miles for sectors flown by any person other than the Member or authorized members according to SaudiGulf Club program.
    5. Using or attempting to use stolen or counterfeit tickets on SaudiGulf or Partner Airlines.
    6. Attempting to accrue SaudiGulf Club Miles more than once for the same sector.
    7. Selling, exchanging and/or purchasing SaudiGulf Club Miles or SaudiGulf Club Rewards, including attempting to sell, donate or transfer SaudiGulf Club Miles or SaudiGulf Club Rewards by means of Internet based sales or auctions,
    8. Benefiting or Participating from the Fraud or misconduct of another Member or individual.
    9. Creating multiple membership accounts belonging to the same Member.
    10. Allowing others to use membership cards/accounts.
  10. Frequent Flyer Programme” means the programme initiated by SaudiGulf Airlines, to reward individuals who join SaudiGulf Club Program as members (“SaudiGulf Club Members”) and upon complying with the requirements of the SaudiGulf Club Program become eligible to earn and redeem SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  11. SaudiGulf Club or SaudiGulf Club Programme” means the frequent flyer programme of SaudiGulf Airlines offering benefits, facilities or arrangements to Members on account of and in terms of their Membership with SaudiGulf Club.
  12. SaudiGulf Club Card” or “Membership Card” means the membership card for SaudiGulf Club Programme issued by SaudiGulf Club to a Member.
  13. SaudiGulf” means SaudiGulf Airlines.
  14. SaudiGulf Club Miles” means the miles accrued to a Member’s SaudiGulf Club account and appearing on the statement issued by SaudiGulf Club for:
    1. Flying SaudiGulf Economy Class qualifying flights
    2. Flying SaudiGulf Business Class qualifying flights
    3. Flying SaudiGulf First Class qualifying flights
  15. SaudiGulf Club Awards” means any tickets, rewards or benefits that are issued against redemption of SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  16. Member” means a Customer enrolled as a Member of SaudiGulf Club.
  17. Membership” means membership of the SaudiGulf Club Programme.
  18. Membership Tier” refers to the tier level in SaudiGulf Club designated to a Member   based on Elite Qualifying Flights or Elite Status Miles earned in each Membership Year.
  19. Tier Validity” means a stipulated period of 12 months which indicates the duration of time till the Member’s Tier is valid.
  20. Partner Airlines” means Airlines that are partners to the SaudiGulf Club programme.
  21. Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles” means the miles accumulated by Members into the SaudiGulf Club Membership account for using specified services of Programme Partners)  if any ) and appearing on the statement issued by SaudiGulf Club.
  22. Processing” includes obtaining, using, examining, verifying and/or recording and holding in any electronic or any other form.
  23. Programme Partner” means any airline, company or organization having a contract with SaudiGulf Airlines and designated as a Programme Partner by SaudiGulf Club at the time a ticket relating to such Programme Partner is issued and used.
  24. Promotional Bonus” means Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles credited to Members SaudiGulf Club Account qualifying on promotions run by SaudiGulf Club.
  25. Qualifying Flight” or “Valid Flight” means a flight operated by SaudiGulf and flown by the member upon the purchase of a paid ticket on a fare level that is eligible for earning SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  26. Sector” means a single direct flight eligible for accrual of SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  27. Tier Qualifying Miles” means the SaudiGulf Club Miles accumulated by Members in their SaudiGulf Club Membership account for flying on SaudiGulf and appearing on the statement issued by SaudiGulf Club. These Tier Qualifying Miles determine Membership and tier status and do not include any bonus/promotional bonuses and Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles.  The Tier Qualifying Miles would however include cabin bonuses accrued for flying on SaudiGulf Business & First cabins.
  28. Validity Period” all SaudiGulf Club Miles accumulated and approved under the SaudiGulf Club Programme are valid for redemption up to 3 Calendar Years after they have been earned. 
  29. Reservation System” means the system used by SaudiGulf for booking and selling tickets to its customers.

Any individual applying to enroll on the SaudiGulf Club Programme is deemed to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions governing the SaudiGulf Club Programme as amended which will be applicable from time to time.

  1. ‘’Enrolment Form’’
    1. Any individual over 2 years of age may apply to enroll into the SaudiGulf Club Programme by duly filling in the prescribed 'Enrolment Form' subject to confirmation by SaudiGulf Club, although the individual may start to quote the Membership Number printed on the face of the Enrolment Form pending such confirmation by SaudiGulf Club, for operational convenience.
    2. Guests who are physically filling the Enrollment Form must send the form to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist. Membership is subject to confirmation by SaudiGulf Club and no credit of SaudiGulf Club Miles will accrue or be honored until the duly filled Enrollment Form has been processed by SaudiGulf Club.
    3. In case of Enrollment Forms that are incomplete and/or inaccurate will not be processed and will be treated as invalid, the applicants would be required to call up the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist to complete the enrollment formalities. 
  2. “Web Site Enrolment”
    1. Any Individual over 2 years of age may apply online to enroll into the SaudiGulf Club Programme through the SaudiGulf website http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com and may start to quote the SaudiGulf Club Membership Number that is sent to him /her via e-mail on successful completion of the online enrolment process.
    2. Membership is subject to confirmation by SaudiGulf Club and no credits of SaudiGulf Club Miles will accrue or be honored until the duly filled enrollment form has been processed by SaudiGulf Club and the same has been notified by SaudiGulf Club to the Member.
  3. Registration of visible Customer information thru SaudiGulf Airlines directly to Enrolment Form
    1. To assist Customer and as additional service provided by SaudiGulf Club, at any time when the Customer booking on www.saudigulfairlines.com, thru the SaudiGulf Reservation Call Centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist or any of SaudiGulf Airlines ticketing offices into the cities, Airport Ticketing Offices, SaudiGulf Airlines may fill out the Enrolment Form and inform the customer with his/her Enrolment Form number to complete the remaining information, data which necessary for finalizing registration procedures by customer.
    2. Any Individual over 2 years of age will be enrolled in SaudiGulf Club provided all mandatory fields are completed.
    3. Membership is subject to confirmation by SaudiGulf Club and no credits of SaudiGulf Club Miles will accrue or be honored until the enrollment has been processed successfully by SaudiGulf Club and the same has been notified by SaudiGulf Club to the Member.
  4. SaudiGulf Club may accept or reject any application for Membership at its absolute discretion. If an application for Membership is rejected, then any benefit that may have been accrued to the applicant through the use of a temporary Membership Card will be null and void.
  5. Any information, personal date or other date submitted by the applicant or received by him on the way (by member and or others of which related to the member or its relatives or affiliates) have been submitted to SaudiGulf Airlines or any of its partners for use in booking or registration on renewal, amended or otherwise. SaudiGulf Airlines or its partners have the right to use or disclosed it, members acknowledges no claim of responsibility, under any system, or low and considered accountable for the entirety of this information or transmitted.

  1. Membership to the SaudiGulf Club Programme is open only to individuals over 2 years of age at the time of enrolment in the SaudiGulf Club Programme.
  2. Membership to SaudiGulf Club is offered at the sole discretion of SaudiGulf Club and SaudiGulf Club may refuse Membership to any person without assigning any reasons.
  3. The SaudiGulf Club Membership number for each Member is specified on the Enrolment Form filled by him/her, the Customer becomes entitled to use the Membership Number on enrollment. However, SaudiGulf Club Miles will only be credited to the Members SaudiGulf Club account only after the duly completed Enrollment Form of the Guest is received and processed by SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.
  4. The SaudiGulf Club Membership card is valid for use by the Member only during the period indicated on it and/ or if no validity is expressly stated, then until the validity of Membership. The SaudiGulf Club Card and the SaudiGulf Club Account numbers are not transferable.
  5. A SaudiGulf Club Membership Card is valid only for use for the period indicated in it and/or if no validity is expressly stated then till the validity of Membership. The Member named on the SaudiGulf Club Membership card is the only person which may use the SaudiGulf Club membership card for any purpose whatsoever. A SaudiGulf Club Membership Card is not transferrable and is not a credit card.
  6. In the event of loss of SaudiGulf Club Membership Card by the Member, a duplicate card shall be issued on a written request to SaudiGulf Club Member Assist and the charges applicable for the issue of a duplicate Membership Card shall be 200 SaudiGulf Club Miles that would be debited from the Members SaudiGulf Club Account. SaudiGulf shall not be liable for any loss caused to the Member by such lost Membership card and the Member shall indemnify SaudiGulf Club for any damages arising out of any such loss or Fraud.
  7. Only one SaudiGulf Club Membership Account shall be assigned to an Individual. In the event that more than one SaudiGulf Club Account Number is assigned to the same individual in good faith (duplicate accounts), SaudiGulf Club reserves the right to merge the two accounts and accordingly inform the Member.
  8. Fraud or misuse of SaudiGulf Club Membership Card or SaudiGulf Club Programme benefits by the Member may result in termination of the Membership and/or withdrawal of benefits at the discretion of SaudiGulf Club.
  9. Benefits, facilities or arrangements provided by SaudiGulf Club or by Programme Partners to a Member as a result of his/ her Membership, such a Member will be personally liable for any and all costs, taxes, surcharges, fees, charges, claims or liabilities of whatever kind or nature arising from the provision or availability of such benefits, facilities or arrangements and SaudiGulf will not be liable forthwith.
  10. The SaudiGulf Club Membership Card shall remain always the property of SaudiGulf Club. SaudiGulf Club reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion and without giving any notice, to revoke Membership or refuse or withdraw an upgrade or benefits (in accordance with SaudiGulf Airlines regulations at any time) to any tier of Membership, upon which the Member must return SaudiGulf Club Membership Card, when requested by SaudiGulf Club and without any liability whatever kind or nature.
  11. SaudiGulf Club will endeavor to assist in procuring the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as expressed or advertised by  Programme Partners however, SaudiGulf Club shall not be liable for the provision or non-provision, whether whole or part, of any such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements by its Programme or  Programme Partners and any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect arising from the provision or non-provision, whether whole or part, of any such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements by its Programme Partners.
  12. The Terms & Conditions of such services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as expressed or advertised by Programme Partners should be read with the Terms & Conditions of that particular Programme Partner available on the SaudiGulf Club website.
  13. The Member must quote his/ her SaudiGulf Club Membership Number and name as mentioned on his/ her Membership Card when booking and checking in for flights on SaudiGulf and/ or using the services of a Programme Partner. If the Member fails to provide the required information accurately at the time of making such booking or availing of services, this may result in the applicable Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles/SaudiGulf Club Miles not being credited to the Member's SaudiGulf Club Account and neither SaudiGulf Club nor its Programme Partner will be responsible and/or liable in this regard in any manner whatsoever.
  14. The Member is eligible to obtain information/data from SaudiGulf Club relating to his/her Membership.
  15. SaudiGulf shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of, or to the SaudiGulf Club Programme or any of the facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to members, including, without limitation, Programme Partners withdrawal or limiting of any such services, benefits or facilities.

  1. The Member is responsible for any information provided or transferred from SaudiGulf systems during the course of Enrolment/Membership with regard to change in name, address, contact details or preferences in writing, either directly to SaudiGulf Club Member Assist or directly online by logging on SaudiGulf Club’s website (http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com).
  2. Name change requests however will have to be made in writing duly signed by the Member and accompanied with legal documentary evidence of such change in name satisfactory to SaudiGulf Club.
  3. The Member is responsible for the security of his/her SaudiGulf Club Account, login ID or password and SaudiGulf shall have no liability whatsoever arising out of any system failures and malfunctions, misuse or fraudulent use of the same.
  4. Members should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform SaudiGulf Club Member Assist immediately if they have any reason to believe that the password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner.

 

  1. SaudiGulf Club Programme comprises of Base Tier, Green Tier, Gold Tier and Platinum Tier
  2. The Base Tier is the entry level to the SaudiGulf Club programme, entitlement to Green Tier, Gold Tier and Platinum tiers depends on the applicable limit of Elite Qualifying flights or the Elite Status Miles earned by Members within a Membership year (refer to http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com for the updated tier qualifying criteria).
  3. SaudiGulf Club may, from time to time, change the number of Elite Qualifying flights or the Elite Status Miles needed to qualify for each tier but will inform Members in advance of any changes.
  4. Gold and Platinum Tiers are valid for 12 months from the date of attainment.  Green Tier does not have any Tier expiration date.
  5. Once assigned or upgraded to a tier status, the Member has to complete the basic number of Elite Qualifying flights or the Elite Status Miles, as may be specified by SaudiGulf Club from time to time, within the Membership year to retain the Membership tier. A Member who has not completed the required minimum level of activity in terms of Elite Qualifying flights or the Elite Status Miles to retain the tier status or Membership in the SaudiGulf Club would be downgraded or inactivated depending on the tier level, without any requirement of SaudiGulf Club giving prior notice to such Member.
  6. SaudiGulf Club may, from time to time, change the number of flights operated by SaudiGulf, the Elite Status Miles needed to qualify for each tier or the SaudiGulf Club Miles accrued by a particular class of travel on any Sector, without any requirement of giving prior notice to the Member.
  7. SaudiGulf Airlines shell have the right to cancel/terminate any membership in its sole discretion and without giving reasons.

 

  1. SaudiGulf Club Miles can be accumulated only once per Valid Flight per Member, regardless of the number of seats purchased by the member on any flight. SaudiGulf Club Miles will be credited only to a Member who has actually traveled on a flight, in a qualifying Sector, and not on travel by any third party, even if the Member has paid for the ticket of such third party.
  2. Members earn SaudiGulf Club Miles for travel undertaken on a Qualifying Flight operated by SaudiGulf. Members can check the earning eligibility of a fare class by visiting the “Earning Miles” page on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com, or by contacting the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.
  3. The following category of travel tickets do not entail accrual of SaudiGulf Club Miles:
    1. Travel on complementary tickets.
    2. Charter flights.
    3. Refunded, forfeited and unused tickets, including non-refundable tickets.
    4. Airline employees, travel agents, tour conductors and/or any other persons traveling on traveling on non-revenue tickets or travel industry/cargo customer discount fares.
    5. Free tickets of any kind, including SaudiGulf Club Award tickets issued under the SaudiGulf Club Programme.
    6. Tickets purchased to carry excess baggage such as valuables, sports equipment, and musical instruments or to provide extra space for the primary passenger.
  4. For connecting flights on SaudiGulf’s network or the network of the Programme Partner, Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles/SaudiGulf Club Miles will be credited as the total of the separate Sectors of the trip. However, on direct or through flights with one or more intermediate stops, SaudiGulf Club Miles will be determined from the place of origin to the final destination of travel.
  5. SaudiGulf Club Miles will accrue only for travel on Sectors flown on a Qualifying Flight as on eligible fare. The Member must travel on an eligible fare to qualify for SaudiGulf Club Miles which may be modified in time to time.
  6. To ensure credit of SaudiGulf Club Miles, the Member must make all his/her bookings in the same name as printed on the SaudiGulf Club Membership Card, or where the Membership Card has not been issued, in the name mentioned   in the SaudiGulf Club Enrolment Form or as communicated in the enrolment confirmation email.
  7. To earn SaudiGulf Club Miles, the Member must quote the SaudiGulf Club Membership account number at the time of making the booking and also present the SaudiGulf Club Membership card at the time of check in.
  8. Failure to give complete/ correct information may result in the Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles/SaudiGulf Club Miles due for that activity not being credited to the Member's SaudiGulf Club Account and the Member not receiving certain service benefits.
  9. If a Member gets involuntarily re-routed by SaudiGulf on another carrier for reasons within SaudiGulf’s reasonable control, and the original SaudiGulf flight on which the Member was booked would have qualified for SaudiGulf Club Miles, the Member may request for credit by sending the booking details, i.e. PNR no and date of travel along with the original boarding pass and ticket of the airline on which the travel has been endorsed, to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.  SaudiGulf Club Miles would be credited on confirmation of the above.
  10. SaudiGulf Club Miles will not accrue on flights cancelled or re-routed due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of SaudiGulf or the Programme Partner, including without limitation, Runway Closure, weather or technical delays.
  11. The responsibility to check that SaudiGulf Club Miles and activities have been properly credited lies with the Member. This can be checked online at http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com.
  12. All activities that are not tracked automatically at the time of travel may be credited later at the discretion of SaudiGulf Club. Existing Members can claim retro credit for SaudiGulf fights taken in the past 180 days from current date. These can be claimed online through the ‘Claim Missing Miles’ page on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com. For security reasons, Members will have to log onto their SaudiGulf Club Account to access this feature.
  13. In case of dispute about entitlement to SaudiGulf Club Miles credit, SaudiGulf Club may require proof of travel on the relevant sector including the retained segment of the boarding pass and e-ticket for the Sector claimed to have been flown. If a Member purchases an extra seat for self on a particular flight, SaudiGulf Club Miles will only be awarded for the primary booking on SaudiGulf. No SaudiGulf Club Miles will be credited for the extra seat.
  14. Members are advised to retain relevant boarding passes and e-ticket till the SaudiGulf Club Miles accrued appear on their monthly e-statement that has been sent to the email ID registered in the members SaudiGulf Club account. Members shall immediately and in any case within 180 days from the date of travel, report any omissions or errors in their SaudiGulf Club Account to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist via email, fax or online at http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com..
  15. Members earn Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles for Qualifying Charges in respect of travel undertaken on a flight operated by a Programme Partner. It shall be the responsibility of the Member to check whether travel undertaken on a flight operated by a Programme Partner would be eligible for Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  16. SaudiGulf Club Miles will be earned by the Member only if he boards and successfully completes the flight.
  17. An individual enrolling on the SaudiGulf Club Programme may claim mileage for eligible SaudiGulf flights taken up to 90 days prior to the date of Enrollment into the SaudiGulf Club by providing boarding cards or such other acceptable evidence of travel to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist at the time of Enrolment to the SaudiGulf Club Program.
  18. The SaudiGulf Club Miles for a Valid Flight on SaudiGulf or a Programme Partner shall be based on the SaudiGulf Club Miles chart, which shall be prepared by SaudiGulf. The number of SaudiGulf Club Miles for a Valid Flight will be based on the Member’s fare class of booking and Sector of travel.  Qualifying Flights flown on fares less than full economy class fares will accrue SaudiGulf Club Miles based upon the SaudiGulf Club Miles chart or as displayed on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com
  19. In case of any promotion, entailing Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles, the Member will be required to quote the specific promotion or campaign code (which shall be communicated to the Members) in order to become eligible to earn the Bonus SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  20. SaudiGulf is not responsible for non-receipt of any communication addressed to SaudiGulf Club Member Assist by any Member.
  21. Altered, mutilated or illegible documents will not qualify for credit of Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles/SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  22. Sale, purchase or exchange of SaudiGulf Club Miles is not permitted and will be considered a breach of these Terms and Conditions, except for redemption of SaudiGulf Club Miles for travel on SaudiGulf.

  1. Where the Member is also a member of the frequent flyer programme or the loyalty programme of the Programme Partner, the Member can choose to receive the Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles in either the SaudiGulf Club programme or the programme of the Programme Partner unless explicitly stated otherwise by SaudiGulf Airlines.
  2. Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles successfully captured at the time of the Partner transaction, would reflect in the Members SaudiGulf Club Account usually within six weeks from the transaction, or as expressly communicated in the Partner communication featured on the Partner page on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com.
  3. Members would be responsible to ensure that the Membership Number is provided at the time of making a reservation/check-in or transacting with any of SaudiGulf Club partners to ensure Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles for the particular transaction gets credited to the members SaudiGulf Club Account.
  4. Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles would be accrued only on qualifying charges on services offered by the Programme Partners which are subject to change without notice.  Members would be responsible to check with the partner the qualifying   charges for eligibility of earning Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles.
  5. In the case of Hotel Partners, member must quote the SaudiGulf Club membership number at the time of booking and check-in to avail of all benefits and privileges applicable on the programme Partner.
  6. Separate hotel stays on consecutive days in the same Partner Hotel property do not earn additional Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles. In a case of two or more members occupying the same room or availing of a partner benefit in a single transaction, Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles would be credited only to the member whose name and SaudiGulf Club number appears on the reservation/transaction invoice SaudiGulf Club is not responsible for informing members on any changes on the Partner Participation in the SaudiGulf club programme, Members must confirm partner status prior to using the services/privileges of Programme Partners.
  7. SaudiGulf will in no way be liable for the acts or omissions of its Programme Partners.
  8. All participating Programme Partners relevant terms and conditions for reservation, ticketing, passports, identity cards, residence cards and all other matters concerning the use of such services as the case may be would apply.
  9. All Partner activities/transactions that are not tracked automatically may be claimed retrospectively by submitting the supporting documents, i.e. boarding passes and ticket, transaction receipts within the stipulated time period from the date of transaction/activity as communicated in the partner web page on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com.
  10. Any Partner activity undertaken prior to enrolment into the SaudiGulf Club Programme is not valid for Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles credit.
  11. All Programme Partners, which offer Partner SaudiGulf Club Miles or service Benefits and privileges to Members, are listed on http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com.

  1. Mileage Statements are available to Members on request, “Except during system malfunction” and will be sent via e-mail to the e-mail ID registered under the Member’s SaudiGulf Club Account.
  2. Members are advised to retain their e-tickets and boarding passes till mileage credit appears on their account and report any omissions in their SaudiGulf Club Account to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist by mail, e-mail or fax.
  3. All mileage discrepancies must be reported to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist, within 180 days of completion of the activity.
  4. Members’ activity information is also available online on the website http://theclub.saudigulfairlines.com of SaudiGulf’s website. To access the Membership Account statement online, the Member must register with us and login through SaudiGulf’s website with his/her membership number and password.
  5. SaudiGulf is not responsible for the non-delivery of 'incoming' correspondence. Verbal communication for mileage credit discrepancies is not acceptable.
  6. Altered or illegible documents will not be accepted for the purpose of crediting / debiting of SaudiGulf Club Miles as the case maybe. 

  1. Members may redeem their SaudiGulf Club Miles for a SaudiGulf Award ticket only after having recorded a minimum of 7,500 SaudiGulf Club Miles in their SaudiGulf Club Account.
  2. SaudiGulf Awards tickets will be issued only for travel to and from destinations served by SaudiGulf and/ or Partner Airlines designated at the time the ticket is issued. Applicable taxes, surcharges and applicable governmental charges from “time to time” shall apply on SaudiGulf Award Tickets. SaudiGulf Award tickets shall be issued only upon the Member paying the same.
  3. Obtaining all relevant documentation (visa, travel, permits etc.) as may be required for the intended travel is the responsibility of the Member. SaudiGulf Airlines shall not be liable for refusal of entry into any destination by relevant authorities or any other loss caused to the Member in absence of complete documentation.
  4. SaudiGulf Club reserves the right at any time to change the criteria and the number of miles needed for an Award ticket.
  5. SaudiGulf Award tickets- Online:
    1. SaudiGulf Award tickets on SaudiGulf Airlines and Partner Airline may be requested by the Member for both one-way and return tickets (unless a Partner Airline follows only return ticket policy) however SaudiGulf Club does not take any responsibility whatsoever in regard to the Partner Airline.
    2. SaudiGulf Award tickets are valid for the date of travel only or till the date printed on the face of the ticket.
    3. SaudiGulf Award tickets may be issued to any person known to the member in case of an individual account.
    4. SaudiGulf Awards tickets issued against SaudiGulf Club Miles are not eligible for earning SaudiGulf Club Miles.
    5. There are no blackout dates in relation to Award Tickets on SaudiGulf Flights and are subject to availability. However, Partner Airline redemption tickets are subject to blackout dates determined by the Partner Airline.
    6. SaudiGulf Award tickets are booked under a specific booking SaudiGulf booking class. When the seats reserved under the said class on any given flight are full, requests for redemptions of Award Tickets on the said flight will not be entertained, SaudiGulf Club Miles can only be redeemed within the Validity Period of 36 months from the date they were earned and if not it would be considered expired.
  6. SaudiGulf Airlines and Partner Airline reserves the right to limit the number of seats made available for SaudiGulf Award tickets at its sole discretion and without requirement of giving any prior notice to the Member.
  7. In addition to the Terms and Conditions, tickets on Partner Airlines are subject to the terms and conditions specific to the Programme Partners. In this regard Member shall be responsible to verify the additional conditions that may apply when traveling with Programme Partner.
  8. SaudiGulf Award tickets have no monetary refund value. Redeeming a SaudiGulf Award Offline:
    1. SaudiGulf Award tickets for SaudiGulf Airlines or its Partner Airlines can be redeemed offline by calling the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist or by submitting a written request to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist in the prescribed form, filled in and duly signed by the Member.  The request must be emailed to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist from the email ID of the Member as registered in the SaudiGulf Club Account.
    2. The Member must make the request for SaudiGulf Award Tickets to the SaudiGulf Club provide the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist at least 3 working days (other than weekends “Friday and Saturday” and the official holidays of the country) prior to proposed date of travel on SaudiGulf and a minimum of 4 weeks for travel on Programme Partner, to process the request.
  9. A request for SaudiGulf Award ticket will not be considered valid and will not be entertained unless completed in all respects and duly submitted by the Member. In case of a written request for redemption, unsigned requests will not be processed. SaudiGulf Airlines reserves the right to verify the signature on the request form submitted by the Member with the signature on the Enrolment Form or proof of identity provided by the Member.
  10. SaudiGulf Award ticket request should be made directly with SaudiGulf Club, no other person, including without limitation, travel agencies are not authorized to book or issue SaudiGulf Awards tickets.
  11. No open dated SaudiGulf Award tickets shall be issued under the SaudiGulf Club Programme.
  12. The SaudiGulf Award ticket will be issued only after the Member has paid the applicable taxes, surcharges or governmental charges as applicable from “time to time” on SaudiGulf Airlines or Airline Partners respectively. The member will be responsible for all other expenses and any other charges, claims or liabilities arising in relation to the use of SaudiGulf Award tickets.
  13. SaudiGulf Award tickets will not be issued for infants (under 2 years of age). A Member traveling on a SaudiGulf Award ticket shall pay the applicable revenue fare for the infant (if any).
  14. SaudiGulf Award Tickets requested on SaudiGulf by Members for children below 12 years of age will entail redemption of 50% of the applicable SaudiGulf Club Miles for the relevant destination. However, for redemptions on Airline Partners of SaudiGulf, redemption will be as per the standard published redemption requirement of the relevant airline which Members shall avail.
  15. All award requests by Members for SaudiGulf Award Tickets for children (of age 2 years and above and less than 12 years) must be accompanied by proof of age of the child i.e. passport or birth certificate.
  16. All award requests by Members for SaudiGulf Award Tickets for children of age 2 years and above and less than 12 years will be processed only if the child is accompanied by an individual 18 years and above responsible for the child and travelling on the same flight.
  17. All reservations on SaudiGulf that are not ticketed within the specified time limit will be cancelled.
  18. Changes & Cancellation of Awards
    1. No charges will be levied for any changes made to a SaudiGulf Award request that has been received by the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist and not ticketed, subject to the Member providing a written request for the change to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist before issuing the ticket.
    2. Once ticketed, changes to SaudiGulf Award tickets on SaudiGulf Airlines would be accepted at the SaudiGulf Reservation Call Centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist only, (12 hours prior to the revised date of travel for domestic flights and 24 hours prior to the revised date of travel for International flights) would be subject to availability and ticketing conditions set by the SaudiGulf. Changes in Sector /Cabin /Changes in Travel date/Change to a different flight on the same day will be subject to a charge of 100 SAR (currently) in Economy, Business/First. These charges will be debited to the Members SaudiGulf Club account or Members Credit Card as per his/her request.
    3. Cancellation of SaudiGulf Award tickets on SaudiGulf on Saudi domestic routes will be permitted up to 12 hrs before departure of the flight and 24 hrs before departure on international routes, subject to a cancellation charge of 100 SAR (currently) for flights in Economy Class and 200 SAR (currently) for Business/First Cabins, which will be debited from the Members SaudiGulf Club Account.  
    4. SaudiGulf Club Miles redeemed for a SaudiGulf Award Ticket on SaudiGulf Airlines will be re-credited only if the Member cancels the ticket at SaudiGulf reservation call centre or through the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist and sends a written request to the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist to re-credit the SaudiGulf Club Miles.
    5. In the event of a no-show on SaudiGulf Award tickets (Members who do not arrive in time for their booked flight) the redeemed SaudiGulf Club Miles will not be credited back into the Membership Account and shall be deemed as utilized.
    6. No Show member on Partner SaudiGulf Award tickets (member holding confirmed tickets who do not present themselves for their booked flight) will be deemed as travelled and SaudiGulf Club Miles will not be re-credited for such tickets.
    7. Members with SaudiGulf Award tickets on both SaudiGulf as well as Airline Partners, who check-in for their flights but do not report at boarding gate for the same, will forfeit all the SaudiGulf Club Miles that have been redeemed for that SaudiGulf Award as the ticket will be deemed as used.
    8. SaudiGulf Club Miles re-credited against cancellation or as a difference in the changes to the SaudiGulf Award ticket, will be only re-credited if the SaudiGulf Club Miles is valid as on the date of such cancellation or a change to the SaudiGulf Award ticket. If not, such Miles stand forfeited.
  19. Redeeming a SaudiGulf Award Online:
    1. SaudiGulf Awards may be availed online at the www.saudigulfairlines.com website or by calling the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.
    2. With online Award booking feature, the booking/ ticketing can be done at any time, subject to seat availability. Reservations not ticketed within the specified time limit will be cancelled.
    3. Any changes or cancellation to the SaudiGulf Award booked online would have to be made directly with the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.
    4. SaudiGulf Awards cannot be availed online for travel on Partner Airlines.
    5. Requests for SaudiGulf Awards for children below 12 years of age cannot be made online and would be only accepted thru SaudiGulf Reservation Call Centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist.

  1. From time to time, the SaudiGulf Club Programme may offer its Members vouchers, which will entitle the holder to complimentary upgrades to SaudiGulf Business/First.
  2. Upgrades against Vouchers are permitted only on SaudiGulf operated and marketed flights for an upgrade from a purchased SaudiGulf Economy Class to SaudiGulf Business/First.
  3. Upgrade vouchers are not transferrable and can only be used by the SaudiGulf Member whose name is printed on the voucher.
  4. Upgrade Vouchers can be used only on revenue bookings that are ticketed before listing for the upgrade.
  5. Any Upgrade Voucher is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue printed on the face of the Upgrade Voucher.  The validity of the Upgrade Voucher will not be extended under any circumstances.
  6. The number of Upgrade Vouchers required for a one-way upgrade, on the basis of what is mentioned below and could be changed based on the sole discretion of SaudiGulf. SaudiGulf Class to SaudiGulf Business/First: 
    1. Saudi Domestic – 1 Voucher.
    2. Within GCC – 2 Vouchers.
    3. Africa – 3 Vouchers.
    4. Asia and Indian Subcontinent – 3 Vouchers.
  7. Upgrade to SaudiGulf First on Saudi domestic sectors can only be used in conjunction with a purchased Economy ticket made in all classes of booking except tickets issued (currently) under fare classes G, B, W, O, V, H, K, E and S. Members may request for upgrades when travelling on any purchased, published fare on eligible SaudiGulf Airlines flights. Economy Award Class – X is not eligible for upgrade to SaudiGulf First.
  8. To get an upgrade on Saudi domestic sectors, Members must contact the SaudiGulf Reservations call centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist and book their upgrades by quoting their Voucher numbers, no later than 12 hours before departure. At this time, the upgrade will be confirmed to the Member right away, if available. For an upgrade on international sectors, Members must contact any SaudiGulf Airlines reservations Office and book their upgrade by quoting the voucher number(s) no later than 24 hours prior to departure of their flight. At this time, the upgrade will be confirmed to the Member right away, if available.
  9. The Voucher number must be quoted at the time of making the request and the Voucher, in original, must be handed over at the time of check-in.  The upgrade will not be honored if the physical voucher is not presented at the time of check in.
  10. Members must arrive at the check in counter a minimum of 1 hr. prior to departure for flights within Saudi Arabia and 3 hours prior to departure for International flights. Check-in directly at the SaudiGulf Business/First check-in counter by presenting the required Upgrade Voucher(s).
  11. Booking an upgrade is mandatory. Members, who have not booked themselves for an upgrade, may not be accommodated even though seats may be available in SaudiGulf First, at the time of departure.
  12. Use of Upgrade Vouchers is not subject to any blackout periods. It is however subject to class and capacity control.
  13. Upgrade Vouchers are valid only for a single one-way, direct, nonstop SaudiGulf operated flight only. In case of through flight with en-route stops, the upgrade will only be offered if the next class of service seating can be confirmed for all segments of the flight, at the time of offering the upgrade. If the through-flight with en route stops involves different flight numbers, then multiple vouchers will be required.  In cases of connecting flights on domestic, where there is a change of aircraft; one Voucher will be permitted for use on one sector only. E.g. For travel on DMM-RUH-JED, one Upgrade Voucher will be used on the DMM-RUH sector and a separate Voucher will be used for the RUH-JED sector.
  14. The Upgrade Voucher is not refundable or exchangeable and has no cash value.
  15. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
  16. SaudiGulf Club Members will be awarded a flight count and will earn SaudiGulf Club Miles as per the multi-level mileage earning system for the original booked Class in Economy only and not for the class upgraded. 
  17. Upgrades under this offer are applicable only on domestic and international SaudiGulf Airlines, marketed and operated flights and not on code share flights or Airline Partners.
  18. Changes to the upgrade request would require the Member to cancel the upgrade and request for a fresh upgrade on the rebooked and ticketed itinerary.  The upgrade will be offered subject to availability of SaudiGulf Business/First seats, on the revised flight.  Any differences in the fare or rebooking charges as applicable would be payable by the Member.
  19. In case the Member wishes to cancel the entire ticket, the Member would be required to follow the normal cancellation procedures and the member would require to pay the normal cancellation charges.
  20. If the Member wishes to cancel just the Upgrade, he will have to get the full ticket cancelled at a SaudiGulf reservations Call Centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist. A new ticket will have to be issued for travel in SaudiGulf Class. Any cancellation charges and difference in fares would be applicable on member as per fare rules.
  21. Any other Vouchers issued by SaudiGulf for complimentary upgrades will be governed by the Terms and Conditions printed on their reverse.
  22. The Upgrade will be valid only on presenting the correct original Voucher(s) at airport check-in.
  23. If any Upgrade Voucher is lost, the same must be reported immediately to the SaudiGulf Airlines Reservations Call Centre or SaudiGulf Club Member Assist to deactivate the same.
  24. In case of a through-flight or flights with en-route stops, the Upgrade will only be offered on both Sectors of the journey, provided a seat on the higher class of service is available for both segments at the time of requesting the Upgrade.
  25. Except in case of flight cancellation by SaudiGulf Airlines, SaudiGulf upgrade Voucher will be forfeited in the event of no-show, date changes, or any similar events.

  1. By using the SaudiGulf Club Membership card and/or quoting the SaudiGulf Club Membership account number to SaudiGulf and/or any Programme Partners, a Member consents to SaudiGulf creating, maintaining and updating Data. The Data will be maintained and updated for the purpose of providing relevant information and services to the Member.
  2. For reasons of security and identity verification, a Member may be asked certain questions before disclosure of Data pertaining to the Member that is held by SaudiGulf.
  3. Where a Member has registered online or if the Member’s signature has not been registered with SaudiGulf, SaudiGulf reserves the right to require the Member to produce valid photo identity proof (such as passport/ driver’s license/ Resident Identity card or such other identity proof as SaudiGulf may deem proper) for verification.
  4. Only the Member would be eligible to obtain Data from SaudiGulf relating to his/her own Membership, however, SaudiGulf may disclose Data relating to a Member to a third person who has been nominated in this regard in writing by the Member to SaudiGulf in advance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any and all Data or information in a Member’s SaudiGulf Club account may be disclosed by SaudiGulf or its partners, as may be required by law, including without limitation, disclosure to the police, immigration and customs authorities.
  5. SaudiGulf reserves the right to block online access to Data by or through any third party website not authorized by SaudiGulf.
  6. In an effort to provide valuable information and offers to Members, SaudiGulf develops mailing lists for use by SaudiGulf and its Programme Partners. These lists are developed under SaudiGulf conditions designed to safeguard the privacy of the Member’s information as possible. As part of providing value added services to the SaudiGulf Club Members, SaudiGulf reserves the right to send special offers/products to the Members regarding SaudiGulf Club, SaudiGulf and/or its Programme Partners.
  7. Consent to receive such offers will be deemed as given until such time that the Member expressly withdraws his/her consent to receive mailers and offers from SaudiGulf and its various Programme Partners by notifying the SaudiGulf Club Member Assist in writing or online on SaudiGulf’s website. SaudiGulf will remove, or in the case of a Programme Partner, make efforts to procure the removal of, the name of such Member from the mailing list within 30 working days (if applicable). Withdrawal of consent may result in certain services not being offered and/or provided to the Member.

  1. SaudiGulf Club reserves the right to audit the Member’s SaudiGulf Club Account at any time, without notice to the Member, to ensure compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the SaudiGulf Club Programme, SaudiGulf’s Conditions of Carriage (which apply to all passengers) and applicable governmental and/or non-governmental regulations.
  2. SaudiGulf’s Conditions of Carriage include a prohibition against actions involving fictitious multiple bookings. In the event that the audit reveals discrepancies or violations or Fraud, the processing or SaudiGulf Award and mileage summaries may be delayed, cancelled or suspended until such discrepancies, violations or Fraud is resolved.
  3. The Membership account of any Member breaching or violating the Terms and Conditions may be frozen at SaudiGulf Club sole discretion (e.g. SaudiGulf Club Miles may not be redeemed from a withheld SaudiGulf Club Account).
  4. SaudiGulf may impose charges on such Members by deducting SaudiGulf Club Miles from their respective SaudiGulf Club Accounts.
  5. SaudiGulf also reserves the right to disqualify any Member from further participation in the SaudiGulf Club Programme if in SaudiGulf sole judgment; such Member has breached the Terms and Conditions or violated the conditions of carriage or any of the rules described herein.
  6. Data in physical form will be retained by SaudiGulf up to a maximum of 6 months after which SaudiGulf may, at its option, preserve an electronic copy of the same.

  1. If a Member wishes, the Member may terminate the Membership by providing notice in writing and by surrendering the plastic SaudiGulf Club Membership card to SaudiGulf Club Member Assist. However, such termination of Membership by a Member shall not relieve him/her from any obligations, which are intended to survive, or by its nature survives the termination of Membership. The Member will not be then bound by any continuing obligations under these terms and conditions.
  2. SaudiGulf, may at any time at its sole discretion, terminate or suspend the Membership of any Member and /or the right of any Member to use the SaudiGulf Club Membership card. In case of such termination by SaudiGulf, the SaudiGulf Club Miles in the SaudiGulf Club account of such Member shall stand forfeited. In the case of suspended Membership, SaudiGulf may in its discretion, impose a reduction in tier grade and/or debit SaudiGulf Club Miles and/or request undertakings in respect of future conduct to revive the Membership.
  3. On the death of a Member, the SaudiGulf Club Account will be closed.

  1. All transactions/activities in the SaudiGulf Club programme are subject to the Terms and Conditions, any other applicable rules and regulations of SaudiGulf governing such activity and are further subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. These Terms and Conditions may be changed by SaudiGulf from time to time in its absolute discretion and without any requirement of prior notice to the Members. Participation in SaudiGulf Club is subject to the Terms and Conditions and a Member shall be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.
  3. SaudiGulf may in its discretion at any time, without giving notice, change or modify the SaudiGulf Club Award structure by revising the SaudiGulf Club mile levels required to attain a particular SaudiGulf Award, stipulate a specified period during which SaudiGulf Club Miles cannot be redeemed, limit the number of seats available for the redemption of SaudiGulf Club Miles to any or all destinations or on certain specified flights: alter the number or types of journeys required to obtain a particular SaudiGulf Award; change or withdraw Programme Partners affiliations, change the parties from which a SaudiGulf Award may be obtained/redeemed, change the length of time after being Awarded within which SaudiGulf Club Miles must be redeemed; impose a time limit upon validity for redemption of any SaudiGulf Club Miles issued by SaudiGulf; introduce and/or review Membership fees; any special offers, and modify and change the procedures and rules relating to ticketing on redemption of SaudiGulf Club Miles, as well as any benefits provided in connection with the SaudiGulf Club programme and any special offers or promotional offers made to any tier or group of Members or any other aspect of the SaudiGulf Club Programme.
  4. SaudiGulf may in its discretion at any time, without giving notice, change the SaudiGulf Club programme rules, regulations, Tier level attainment & renewal requirements, SaudiGulf Awards, mileage Award levels and special offers at any time without notice. This means that SaudiGulf may initiate changes, for instance, impacting partner affiliations, rules for earning Miles credit, rules for redemption of SaudiGulf Awards against SaudiGulf Club Miles, continued availability of Awards, blackout dates or limit the seats available for Award travel to any or all destinations including but not limited to allocations no Award seats on certain flights.
  5. SaudiGulf may terminate the SaudiGulf Club programme (in its entirety or part) at any time and without notice but will use its reasonable endeavors (if possible) to give at least three months’ notice to Members. At the end of the period of notice, the Members right to use the services or receive any benefits under or pursuant to the SaudiGulf Club programme, including without limitation, the earning and redemption of SaudiGulf Club Miles will cease.

  1. SaudiGulf, any of its affiliates or programme partners shall not be liable or responsible to any member or to such member’s nominee or companion or guardian, for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind or nature whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the SaudiGulf club programme and/or the provision or the refusal to provide any benefits or service, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by negligence, misconduct or recklessness otherwise, and whether SaudiGulf, any of its affiliates or its programme partners have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
  2. SaudiGulf will not be liable or responsible for any loss arising from the failure by programme partners to provide services or benefits to which a member may be entitled to under or pursuant to the SaudiGulf club programme.
  3. SaudiGulf reserves the right to terminate at any time, without giving any notice, throughout the world, or in a specific country, in which SaudiGulf is associated with its programme partners, the right of any or all members to earn or redeem SaudiGulf club miles.
  4. To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with law in Saudi Arabia. SaudiGulf airlines and each member submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Saudi courts to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them.

The member agrees that by enrollment to the SaudiGulf club programme, he/ she has read and understood the terms and conditions of the SaudiGulf club programme, and confirms that he/ she is bound by such terms and conditions.
